What's happening?
District Detroit plans an office tower with ground-floor retail and underground parking, previously scheduled to break ground in 2023 and open in 2025. In March 2024, developers said the office building was on hold. In 2024, Olympia Development of Michigan had yet to acquire the land, which is owned by the Detroit Wayne County Stadium Authority. A second building, 2250 Woodward, is also planned for the site.
