What's happening?

Detroit City Council approved the sale of the city-owned R. Thornton Brodhead Naval Armory to the Parade Co. for $300,000 in June 2021. The nonprofit, which organizes the annual Thanksgiving Day parade, plans to spend $40 million to rehab the 107,000-square-foot historic Riverfront property for its headquarters.
