What's happening?
The 2022 District Detroit plan called for conversion of an office tower by Fox Theatre into a hotel with 177 rooms and ground-floor retail, with construction beginning in spring 2026. In spring 2024, developers shuffled the previous District timeline and said Fox Hotel or Little Caesars Arena Hotel would be one of the first few projects to break ground.
