September 30, 2024: Dimensional variance granted | Board of Zoning Appeals

"Corktown Housing, LLC, request dimensional variances to construct twenty (20) dwelling units in ten (10) two-story buildings (labeled unit A through unit T) and to construct 4 two story dwelling units (Labeled unit W through unit Z) between Huron Street and Vermont Street. The subject site is within an R2 Two Family Residential. The Board shall be authorized to hear dimensional variance requests for matters that are beyond the scope of BSEED’s 10% administrative adjustments for a variance of the minimum setbacks; For Units A thru T- Deficient lot size, deficient lot width, excessive lot coverage, deficient front setback. For Units W thru Z deficient front yard setback. (Sections 50-4-131 (6)- Permitted dimensional variances and 50-4-121 Approval Criteria).

ACTION OF THE BOARD: Mr. Roberts made a motion to Grant dimensional variances to construct twenty (20) dwelling units in ten (10) two-story buildings (labeled unit A through unit T) and to construct 4 two story dwelling units (Labeled unit W through unit Z) between Huron Street and Vermont Street. Seconded by Board Member Boman.
