What's happening?
Bedrock bought the former State Savings Bank in 2014 for a reported $3.25 million, at which point it had been vacant for 20-plus years. Bedrock completed a renovation of the Beaux Arts building's first floor in 2019 and has used it as an events space. In 2019, they noted plans to reevaluate its use in 2021 and the potential for an office or restaurant tenant. The bank opened in 1900 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
