JacobStreet LLC, led by Ed Siegel, is undertaking a $2.9 million renovation of The Belnord, an apartment building in the Art Center district of Midtown. The project also includes new construction of five apartments on the garden level, and all 29 units are set aside for people making 50% to 80% of the area median income. The project is supported by a $2.46 million construction loan from the Detroit Housing for the Future Fund.
Renovations were completed in 2022.
