Backed by the City Planning Commission, Telegraph Musical Co, LLC is looking to have their building on Telegraph south of W. McNichols Road rezoned from R5 (medium density residential district) to B4 (general business district). The zoning request would allow them to be aligned with the current Master Plan of Policies while also developing their site as a medical marijuana caregiver facility and retail space. City Council raised a motion in January 2022 to send the item to formal session for an introduction and raising of a public hearing. The developers have been working to create a medical marijuana business since 2016.
