October 17, 2024: The Ribbon opens | City of Detroit

"The City of Detroit, LISC Detroit, Invest Detroit, and members of Detroit City Council join Detroit developer Edward Carrington of Flux City Development for the grand opening of a new multi-use affordable housing development on Detroit’s east side. 'The Ribbon,' an $8.2 million development, is the largest development along the E. Warren Ave. corridor in decades and will bring another 18 units of brand-new affordable housing to Detroit."

December 19, 2023: Commercial rehabilitation tax credit approved | State of Michigan

The State Tax Commission at their December 19, 2023 meeting considered and approved your application for a commercial rehabilitation project, in accordance with Public Act 210 of 2005, as amended. Enclosed is certificate number C2023-023, issued to 16530 East Warren, LLC for the project located at 16530 East Warren Avenue, City of Detroit, Wayne County.
A party aggrieved by the issuance, refusal to issue, revocation, transfer or modification of this exemption certificate may appeal a final decision of the State Tax Commission by filing a petition with the Michigan Tax Tribunal within 35 days. March 28, 2023: Loan and brownfield plan approved | State of Michigan

16530 East Warren, LLC was awarded a $1,309,337 Michigan Community Revitalization Program performance-based loan and the City of Detroit Brownfield Redevelopment Authority was awarded an Act 381 Work Plan with state capture valued at $552,426 to support the rehabilitation of a 3-story, 21,170 square foot mixed-use development containing 18 residential units and commercial space. The project is anticipated to create approximately 25 full-time equivalent jobs and a total capital investment of $6,189,337.
