What's happening?

A $4.4 million renovation of the vacant 1920s apartment building was announced in January 2022. Developer Hazelwood Partners LLC received a $2.9 million loan for the project from the Detroit Housing for the Future Fund, philanthropic funding to support affordable housing. Four apartments will have rents set at or below 50% of the area median income, and the others will be at or below 80%.

Rehab was completed in 2023.
