What's happening?

Library Street Collective, a gallery in downtown Detroit, announced in 2022 that it would redevelop a 22,000-square-foot former commercial bakery in partnership with New York-based architectural firm OMA, just a few blocks away from LSC's The Shepherd project. Part of the Little Village project, LANTERN opened in 2024 with artist studio spaces; businesses Coup D’etat, Cøllect, and Cafe Franco; arts nonprofits Progressive Art Studio Collective and Signal-Return; and music organization Assemble Sound.
